The casing and anchorage points were subject to a precise specification of requirements.

Following a Europe-wide announcement, the firm Fechtelkord & Eggersmann has been granted this contract for its offer to plan, build, finance and maintain for 25 years. This new construction replaces the old City Hall at the same site as well as two other municipal buildings, thus centralising the municipal administration. The old City Hall was demolished in June 2007 and the opening for the new City Hall was celebrated on 5 September 2008.

The heat insulation was given special consideration during the execution of this project.
